Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
How Aide Health collects, uses, and shares consumer health data under Washington’s My Health My Data Act, and how to exercise your rights.
Effective date: October 25, 2026
This policy describes how Aide Health, LLC, doing business as Aide Health, handles consumer health data covered by Washington's My Health My Data Act. It concerns health-related personal information that is subject to that law, including certain information collected outside a healthcare provider's HIPAA-covered medical records. Healthaide Medical Group P.C.'s HIPAA-covered records are addressed in its separate Notice of Privacy Practices.
Categories collected and purposes
We collect the following categories when you use the features that request them:
- Health interests and goals, including treatments, wellness concerns, services, or health conditions you ask about. We use these to answer your request and help present relevant service information.
- Voluntary questionnaire and treatment-matching answers, including symptoms, health history, medication interests, weight-related goals, and other information you choose to provide. We use these to provide the requested non-clinical matching experience or help route you to a clinical assessment.
- Care-request and service information, such as appointment requests and the status of care, tests, or prescription fulfillment, to coordinate the services you request.
- Health-related inferences reasonably drawn from the information above, such as a treatment category you may be interested in. We use these only to support the requested Website function or service.
We do not collect precise location data to infer visits to healthcare facilities. We do not use consumer health data for targeted advertising or cross-site health profiling.
Sources
We collect consumer health data directly from your forms, questionnaires, messages, service selections, and account activity. We may receive limited information from Healthaide LLC, Healthaide Medical Group P.C., or operational providers when needed to complete a service you requested. We do not purchase consumer health profiles from data brokers.
Categories shared and recipients
When necessary for a service you request, and subject to applicable consent requirements, we may share relevant health-interest, questionnaire, care-request, or service-status information with:
- Healthaide LLC, which provides software and administrative services.
- Healthaide Medical Group P.C. and its treating clinicians, when you request clinical evaluation or care.
- Pharmacies and laboratories, if needed for requested prescriptions or testing.
- Service providers supporting secure hosting, communications, account services, or fulfillment, only to perform the services we have engaged them to provide.
Specific affiliates: We do not share consumer health data with any additional Aide Health, LLC corporate affiliate for its independent purposes. Healthaide LLC and Healthaide Medical Group P.C. are separately named above as service and clinical recipients, not as Aide Health, LLC affiliates.
We do not sell consumer health data or share it with advertising networks for targeted advertising. Any collection or sharing that requires affirmative consent will occur only after the applicable consent is obtained. Where the law permits collection or sharing as necessary to provide a product or service you request, we may rely on that exception.
Your rights and requests
Subject to the Act, you may:
- Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data and request access to it.
- Request information about the third parties or affiliates that received your consumer health data, including contact information where required.
- Withdraw consent for future collection or sharing of consumer health data.
- Request deletion of your consumer health data, subject to applicable exceptions and procedures.
- Appeal our refusal to act on a request.
To exercise these rights, email care@aidehealth.com with the subject "Washington Consumer Health Data Request," or use Your Privacy Choices. You do not have to create a new account to submit a request. We may verify your identity before providing access or taking action. To appeal a denial, reply to our decision with the subject "Appeal: Washington Consumer Health Data Request." We will explain the outcome and, if an appeal is denied, provide a method to contact the Washington Attorney General.
We respond within the time required by the Act. Withdrawal affects future consent-based collection or sharing, not processing already permitted by law. Deletion rights under this policy do not replace the rules governing HIPAA medical records.
